The damping direction of Fido RH-D40 high torque rotating dampers with a durable ZDC body can be clockwise or anticlockwise. When they rotate in the reverse direction, the value of the return output torque will depend on the damper size. The high torque rotary damper drives and controls the speed utilizing the principle of fluid resistance generated by the oil pressure with the shaft. Fido high torque vane rotary dampers are easy to install and are totally maintenance free.
